Baangee Club is informing and helping rural people to get enrolled in The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) which is an job guarantee scheme, enacted by legislation on August 25, 2005. This scheme provides a legal guarantee for one hundred days of employment in every financial year to adult members of any rural household willing to do public work-related unskilled manual work at the statutory minimum wage of 120 rupees (US$2.17) per day in 2009 prices.

                   

Our Team members visited aroung 20+ rural areas of kaimoor(bhabhua) distict of Bihar state to inform and enroll unemployed adults of rural families in Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act. Our team members were provided them detailed explaination about the work and benifits they get by enrolling in this Act. We were providing unemployed adults Pamphlets and posters to get our idea more clearly.
